Introduction to Ayurveda

Join Dr Prathibha in a hands on talk about Ayurveda. We will focus on the Agni (Nutrition) and prepare together an Ayurvedic afternoon tea.

Dr Prathibha comes from 8 generations of Ayurvedic Doctors in her family. She holds a qualification to teach in the Australian curriculum. She completed her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine at Kottakkal College and specialises in Opthalmology and ENT. Dr Prathibha is our Senior Teacher in the Diploma of Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation (HLT52615) and Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda (HLT62615).

She holds a qualification to train and assess students in Australia

Dr Prathibha holds a qualification to teach in nationally accredited courses in Australia and is our senior teacher in the Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda (HLT62615).

One of Dr Prathibha's specialities is her ability to bring Ayurveda into the Western context. She understands authentic Ayurveda and the limitations that practicing in Australia brings. It is this wisdom, along with her excellent teaching ability that makes her so special to learn with.
